Screed floor sanding service in Yorkshire, Humberside & North Lincolnshire
When installing an Anhydrite (Calcium Sulfate) flowing screed floor, a layer of laitance will form on the surface. This laitance must be removed by sanding 7 days onwards from installation, this is essential to aid in the drying process. The removal of laitance is also imperative if a bonded floor finish, such as tiles are to be adhered to the screed.
At Farndale’s, we offer a sanding service to remove laitance that forms on Anhydrite (Calcium Sulfate) screed floors.
Dust reduction during laitance removal
As we sand the laitance, dust will be created. Using our 3-motor industrial vacuum, dust levels are reduced to keep the work area cleaner.
